Program format and schedule: (Delivered entirely online via Zoom)

Note that Sessions 1-6 will be held on Fridays from 9:00 a. m. – 10:30 EST. Beginning with Session 7, a break and a 1.25 hour Coaching Practicum will follow the session and will conclude at 12:00 noon.
Session 1: The Five Principles that Guide Empowerment Coaching – Friday, Aug. 9, 9:00 - 10:30 a.m.
Session 2: Helping Someone Establish a Coaching Focus – Friday, Aug. 16, 9:00 - 10:30 a.m.
Session 3: The Mindset of a Coach & and Asking Open-Ended Questions – Friday, Aug. 23, 9:00 - 10:30 a.m.
There will be no session on August 30 due to the Labor Day Weekend!
Session 4: Reflective Listening – Friday, Sept. 6, 9:00 - 10:30 a.m.
Session 5: Forming an Empowerment Coaching Alliance – Friday, Sept. 13, 9:00 - 10:30 a.m.
Session 6: Setting IMR Goals – Friday, Sept. 20, 9:00 - 10:30 a.m.
Beginning with session 7, we will begin our session with a one-hour Coaching Practice, and after a 10-minute break, we will conclude the session with the core content of the day, concluding at noon EST.
Session 7: – Coaching Pathways, Coaching Zones, and Code of Ethics – Friday, Sept. 27, 9:00 - Noon
Session 8: Framing OEQ’s for Intelligent Inquiry, Your OEQ Performance Profile – Friday, Oct. 4, 9:00 a.m. - Noon EST. The remaining sessions will use this same schedule.
Session 9: Four Reflective Listening Skills – Friday, Oct. 11, 9:00 a.m. - Noon
Session 10: Understanding Goals and Goal Setting, Goal Clarity and Motivation – Friday, Oct. 18, 9:00 a.m. - Noon
Session 11: Making Wise Choices – Friday, Oct. 25, 9:00 a.m. - Noon
Session 12: Designing Action, Managing Commitment, Holding Focus, Being There – Friday, Nov. 1, 9:00 a.m. - Noon
Students will also be assigned a Mentor Coach who will conduct 6, 1 on 1, 1 hr. sessions with each student beginning week 7. Student and Mentor coach will arrange sessions that fit their schedules.
