Session 6: Setting IMR Goals – Friday, Sept. 20, 9:00 - 10:30 a.m.
1 hour coaching practicums will follow on Weeks 7-12, Friday's from 9:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m. ET

* Students, staff, or faculty who are training to be a Success Coach / Academic Coach / Peer Coach
- Differentiate coaching from giving advice, mentoring, teaching, and counseling.
- Recognize when someone is ready to be coached.
- Engage in a coaching conversation that empowers people to change.
- Use the core Empowerment Success Coaching skills to shape that conversation.
- Help the people you coach make wise choices as they set and pursue goals that are important to them.
- Coach in a variety of situations with a variety of coaching partners as you participate in practice coaching sessions throughout the learning experience.
This learning experience also includes 6, 1-hour, online Coaching Practicum sessions where participants practice the skills they have learned. The 6 Practicum sessions will be held on Zoom beginning September 27th and continue for 6 consecutive weeks.
