Program format and schedule: (Delivered entirely online via Zoom)

(All sessions are Eastern Standard Time Zone)

Note that Sessions 1-6 will be held on Fridays from 9:00 a. m.  – 10:30 EST. Beginning with Session 7, a break and a 1.25 hour Coaching Practicum will follow the session and will conclude at 12:00 noon.

Session 1:    The Five Principles that Guide Empowerment Coaching – Friday, Jan. 26, 9:00 - 10:30 a.m.

Session 2:    Helping Someone Establish a Coaching Focus   – Friday, Feb 2, 9:00 - 10:30 a.m.

Session 3:    The Mindset of a Coach & and Asking Open-Ended Questions – Friday, Feb. 9, 9:00 - 10:30 a.m. 

Session 4:    Reflective Listening – Friday, Mar. 16, 9:00 - 10:30 a.m.

Session 5:    Forming an Empowerment Coaching Alliance – Friday, Feb. 23, 9:00 - 10:30 a.m.

Session 6:    Setting IMR Goals – Friday, Mar. 1, 9:00 - 10:30 a.m.

Beginning with session 7, we end our sessions with a break and a 1.25 hr. Coching Practicum and will conclude at 12 Noon ET for the reminder of the sessions.

Session 7: – Coaching Pathways, Coaching Zones, and Code of Ethics – Friday, Mar. 8, 9:00 - 12 Noon

Session 8:  Framing OEQ’s for Intelligent Inquiry, Your OEQ Performance Profile –  Friday, Mar. 15, 9:00 a.m. - Noon EST.   

Session 9:  Four Reflective Listening Skills – Friday, Mar. 22, 9:00 - 12 Noon

Session 10: Understanding Goals and Goal Setting, Goal Clarity and Motivation –  Friday, Mar. 29, 9:00 -  12 Noon 

Session 11: Making Wise Choices –  Friday, Apr. 5, 9:00 - 12 Noon

Session 12:  Designing Action, Managing Commitment, Holding Focus, Being There – Friday, Apr. 12, 9:00 - 12 Noon

Students will also be assigned a Mentor Coach who will conduct 6, 1 on 1, 1 hr. sessions with each student beginning week 7.  Student and Mentor coach will arrange sessions that fit their schedules.
